Need help finding a new graphics card and PSU.

I'm pretty bad when it comes to figuring out gaming computer stuff. I put my whole thing together but it was from parts recommended to me.

My last graphics card was this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125333

Ended up frying which I think had to do with the PSU. So I need a new one of those as well.

Are there any good deals for graphics cards preferably more powerful than the last one I had but nothing that will break the bank? Figured Newegg's Black Friday sale was the best place to look. And then a PSU that will go well with it and with preferably decent fans.

I have this too if the information is at all relevant.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz

There was a GTX 660 on Newegg for $170 Black Friday.

Did a comparison here.

Would it be a worthwhile upgrade?

An R9 270 would be a better bet. Better performance than a 660 and can be had for $180 normally, probably less on sale.
