I picked up Source some time ago, played it for like 2 hours, didn't like it and never touched it again. How is GO different? Worth giving another shot?

I never played Source, but from what I've heard:

Hit boxes are smaller.
Updated graphics.
Matchmaking (I don't think Source had it, IDK.)

That makes no sense. CS:GO is literally better in every way.

Source has always been a wonky piece of crap.

Gotta agree here, as someone with thousands of hours in Source. It's nothing compared to what GO is now.

GO has better hitboxes and is more newbie friendly

Better hitboxes, some modes that ease players into CS, more weapons, most weapons are actually viable, and a matchmaking mode (server browser is still better).

We should take away their metal boxes!

GO has more updated weapons. Source does have some crazy stuff. I think it has 64 player servers (lol)

Match making is terrible. I want my dedicated servers list. Which it does have but it's not the primary method of server joining.
