I want to grab it once it goes down to $7.49 again, but I'm not sure how enjoyable it would be on my PC.

Yeah it'll run great while looking much better than the consoles. Go for it.

Knock it down to DX9 and drop the lighting and shadows and you probably could run it pretty decently.

DX9 vs DX11 is basically the same, visually. Only real problem with the game is that it's one of those CPU intensive ones.

Well you could always turn down the view/draw distance.

It's pretty demanding, but your system will handle it fine. I mean, aside from "next gen" games, "demanding" basically means playable on a budget quad core 4 GB RAM and a $100 GPU. Or, put even more simply, you can't play it on a toaster.

I run it with a 6850, an Athlon 2 x4 630, and 4 gigs of ram on ultra on 1080p at 40-50 fps. Surprisingly easy game to run for how pretty it is.

Me too. I have a better system and I can't do that.
