and what game was it?

Mine is Runescape. I put in around 256 days played. I guess I spent most of that time grinding in one spot clicking every 5 minutes while playing a game on my PS3 so it's not that bad. I started playing just after Easter 2006 and took many breaks from the game didn't stop playing fully until Halloween 2012. When I switched and started playing WoW.

So I spent 42 full days a year playing that game. Yeah that seems really sad.

776 hours on Black Ops... 454 on World at War, but that's only PC, I played a lot on consoles too.

I don't have actual figures, but probably either Super Mario World or Sonic 2, since I've played both for at least an hour a week since they were released. And much more time with them when I was younger (maybe 5-10 hours a week from 92-96).

What people find fun is what people find fun.

What's so remarkable about that? That you have "better" preferences? Lol.

Also: I'm sorry I didn't have the computer nor the money to play WoW growing up.
Also Runescape is one of the few games, I would still consider playing even if it has so much crap put in it. Why? Because it's an actual good game unlike all of the other crap that I see.

Most likely Counter Strike, and then Graal Online. No idea how much I put in either of them but it was a lot.

runescape - 5+ years
ROBLOX - 4 years
garry's mod - 500+ hours
persona 4 golden - 250+ hours
skyrim - 100+ hours (including all 5 characters)
forza motorsport 4 - 100+ hours (including the amount of time spent driving, tuning, etc)

i still play skyrim, FM4, and P4G to this day

runescape came out with too many shiny updates

ROBLOX is a piece of sh*t game with nothing but bratty 12 year olds acting like they're 21

According to steam I have 158 hours in on Civ IV, but it probably should be a lot higher then that as I had the non steam version for years before I bought it on steam...

It wasn't always what it is now. It's a pretty old game and at one point it was even good, especially for people with weaker computers. One day they just decided 'hey, let's ruin this game' and updates got worse and worse.

A good example was when they put a ton of restrictions on trade. For instance you couldn't make an unbalanced trade or gift a friend. They ran a poll to see how many people wanted the restrictions removed and something like 98% of the voters were for its removal. Never before has a company been so out of touch with it's fan base.

It being p2w now is news to me but hardly surprising. There wasn't any kind of cash shop when I played.
