I don't like EA much as a company but it seems NFSMW and B4 for PC are only on Origin. What have your experiences been like for people who've used both? Those sales are mighty tempting. --- I can't write cursive.
Anyway, I like the UI a lot more than Steam's, but the actual content of the program is lackluster. It's little more than a launcher. In some cases (BFBC2, TS3, BF3, BF4) it's literally a launcher that launches another launcher that launches the game. --- i5-3570K @ 4.6 GHz | HD IceQ X 7850 | Z77-D3H | 700W | Intel 550 180GB | Seagate Barracuda 1T http://i.imgur.com/xUwa3va.png
The client itself is fine. It just doesn't have all the games, community features or "personality" Steam has. Probably 'cause it's run by a soulless corporation. --- "Because I realize I want you. Guts." | "....... Are you a ****?" http://steamcommunity.com/id/Malicii/
It's fine. I get faster downloads on Origin than Steam, but Steam has more features and more games. It's not malware, it's not spyware, it's not going to slow down your computer, it's just a minor inconvenience when starting the game.
i don't get why steam's interface is such a slow pos compared to the smoothness of origin. --- PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://www.steamgamesales.com/

to the OP though Steam is way way better than origin. I have both installed on my comp. Origin is not as good as steam since EA does not put forth enough effort to make it better but, it gets the job done I guess. At least its not as bad as when it first launched *shudders* --- Official TimePharaoh Fanboy #1 Put this in your sig if you are a TimePharaoh fanboy
