Any thoughts appreciated. Or if you think there is a better keyboard in the same price range, I wouldn't mind any thoughts.

Two things:

1) You can get rid of all the junk after the .com/dp/lettersnumbers part
2) you linked the same thing twice

I am not very sure with the second one, but at least that corsair keyboard looks more reliable. Unless you just want more flashy looks. Dang, I wish my keyboard can change colour like that.

I thought the Corsair seemed better especially with the programmable keys and such, but wasn't sure since I'm still not completely familiar with PC gaming.

Maybe I should have mentioned the keyboard is more for gaming as well.

Depends how much custom keys you need, I personally never used to them. I played WoW on laptop back then, and played SWTOR with stock Dell keyboard on my old computer. Some hardcores use them, but I guess there are so many keys in the keyboard for my needs already. This isn't much concern if you mainly play FPS, RTS, turn based, and those kind. The main use of those extra keys are for MMOs, and perhaps things like Diablo 3.

At least I can say the Corsair keyboards are pretty well made (and heavy). Mine is the K70, no custom keys on it other than that midi playback keys and volume scroll.

Is there a particular one you would recommend?

$70 for a rubber dome is a bit much to be honest.
