question about Microsoft Silverlight

does anyone else have a major problem with it? I mean I can't make it through a single episode of ......well anything on Netflix without seeing "Silverlight plug-in has crashed" and having to restart my computer multiple times (Depending on the show; average of once per episode of Malcolm in the Middle (22-25 minute run-time); average of twice per episode of Sherlock (94 minute run-time))

It messes you YouTube as well, videos crash after i watch about 4 consecutive.

now is there some update that i'm just missing out on when i run my windows updates.....or is anyone else having this problem? and if so, how in the heck do i fix it?

I've also re-installed it multiple times (i think this is the fourth time now) but i still get that error message way too often.

You can use the HTML5 player in Netflix now. Just go into playback settings and select it. No idea why Silverlight doesn't work though.
