Do all PC gamers slam the crap out of consoles and people that play them?

PC gamers are more akin to mad scientists that focus less on the actual gaming part of things, and more on the performance part of things. They look at how much AA they can dish out at 1080p with 120fps at which temperatures and with ubersampling in their benchmarking records. It's like they use games as display pieces for what they can do with their PCs rather than build PCs to have fun playing games.

That's more a truth of the people on this board, not PC gamers in general.
Lots of us just want to play the games at an acceptable level.

Yeah, I don't think most "console peasants" realize that the whole PC master race thing is a goof. When PC gamers use it, it's mostly a parody of stereotypical PC douche bags that worry about getting an extra 4FPS on Crysis.

Wishful thinking. Rule #1 of PCH: never overestimate PCH.

I think that's mostly your inferiority complex blowing things out of proportion.

As a PC gamer, I can vouche for him, it's not. Most console gamers do not suffer from an inferiority complex, because they don't know any better, and most of them don't care. Console gamers don't care about performance to the same degree that PC gamers do. I find that most console gamers game for the sake of gaming. For the community. The looking for every treasure chest to unlock all the extra stuff. To them it's more about playing the actual game and having fun with it.

I have more fun when my game is playing with better graphics and performance. Maybe some people exaggerate, but I don't think you speak about every PC gamer here. Besides, like you said, most of the console-only users just don't know any better. They say they don't care about mods but never used one, they said that they don't care about graphics but all they saw was some pictures and probably some footage in the youtube, they say they prefer controllers, but many never played with kb/m, probably some don't care about the performance of the game either, but it's not like they have even played a game that play at 60fps and above.

Honestly though, I don't really care. It's up to him to decide what he really wants to play and where to play, either console or pc. No reason to bash him for his preferences. I just think it's silly to prefer console when you don't really know for sure what exactly you are missing.

But anyway... this is was a little off topic. Just don't say silly and ignorant things and most people will probably don't care.

Alright, well MOST people that use those terms are attempting satire.

But yeah, there are some around here that take that stuff seriously.

Ive noticed that whatever the graphics on a game are, ill simply adjust to them and they become normal instead of amazing or ugly.

Each gen of gaming consoles, except for the "next", has made a decent leap in graphics. Every time im amazed for about 30 minutes, but then those are just "the graphics" and nothing special.

The big thing IMO is the frame rate. After having played lots of games at 60FPS, it's really hard to go back and play stuff at barely 30FPS.

PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://www.steamgamesales.com/

100% my brother. When he comes for vacations, if we ever play on our 360, he just complains the whole time and ruins the experience, whereas I always played 100% console and said PC sucked. I then got a laptop and have not played Xbox (of my own accord, not a friend's) in like a year.

Every single person I know that plays PC games also has at least one console on the side. The only reason it seems like PC elitists are everywhere are because the ones that are tend to be loud and few people seem to realise that "PC master race" is tongue-in-cheek.

^^^This. That is my main gripe with most console games.
