Kingston V300 or Samsung 840 EVO?

Which one is better?. Looking for a 120gb ssd and these two seem to have the better reviews and lowest price.

Judging by the numbers, the EVO will be faster. Not by much, but it will be. HyperX is Kingston's fast SSD.

One is a little faster, the other is a little cheaper. Opinions differ on which is more reliable, but most people would say Samsung, even though I am not quite sure what that is based on.

Can't comment on the Samsung 840 EVO as I don't have one, but I have the 128GB Kingston V300 in my budget PC, and it performs great. In benchmarks, it's not as fast as some other SSDs, but in real life usage you probably won't notice much of a difference.

Samsung EVO, the standard for the SSD nowadays.

The EVO consistently gets top marks, I'd go that route.
