maybe they'll correct it? There were like 15 available at the time too. I know amazon usually compares pricing data with other companies and lowers theirs accordingly. They do this every week or so. But that card should not be $700+ dollars.

Not sure I should have to explain this really, but that $700 card is not sold by Amazon. It's sold through Amazon. Big difference.

The one through Amazon is actually the most expensive.

This. The one by amazon is $750 or something like that. Back on November 6 it was $549.99. I talked to chat and the guy said that's strange for that to happen so he's sending it to their pricing team. I showed him several links where that card is much cheaper. I think it will be fixed shortly. If not, then oh well, I'll get a different brand. I have a ton of gift cards so it's not biggie.

I think they finally disabled that, which sucks.

I found Amazon to be pretty terrible recently when looking for graphics cards. Even most of the cards I've been looking at that are sold by Amazon (not random sellers) are way, way overpriced. Newegg is much better for me, especially considering no tax.

^I'm with you there. I had $160 worth of gift cards with Amazon a couple weeks ago, and honestly the vast majority of my online shopping is on Amazon, but after several days of looking I just gave up and went with Newegg. Pretty frustrating, but I figure I'll just use the gift balance on something else eventually.
