looking for new power supply

Hey all, looking for A new PSU to run the following..

Intel i5 2500k
Xfx r9 290
G.skill ripjaws 2x 4gb ram
A single hdd, a single DVD drive. And some extra 120mm fans.

My old one got burnt out when our new puppy pulled the power cord. Didn't actually matter though because it wouldn't have worked with my new 290 anyway.

It only had the two six pin connectors. They get you to upgrade everything eventually, don't they? It was a 700w ocz extreme I bought around six years ago.

Id like to keep the PSU on the cheaper side of things because my girlfriend was very displeased with my 290 purchase.. Haha.

Thanks for any help. If you need more information, let me know.

Well Shub is the guru on PSU's but this is perhaps the best I can find by a reputable company.

So I would just go on what he says. This is enough power and seems decent enough especially for the price with the mail in rebate.

Get 750w if you want a real upgrade, not that you need it. You can actually get away with 600W, but when you said 290, it will leave you no space for crossfire in the future.

Well this is the cheapest 750W one could find.
