I'm returning my Asus RT-N66U next week as I've had problems with it and I'm looking for a replacement.

I saw this on Amazon UK and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

Any other recommendations are welcome but my budget is 150 and I prefer Amazon UK.

Thank you.

How about this one?

I like the fact that it supports DD-WRT officially and also has a VPN server built in like my Asus.

Just realised the Buffalo isn't 5Ghz, will that make much of a difference in real world usage?

I know my N66U gave me problems with it but on a decent router is it a real benefit.

Do you have a lot of wireless devices and do you file transfers over the WLAN?

Between 6 and 12 depending on the situation (eg. relatives visiting).

I do transfer files but probably the largest bandwidth usage is streaming video.

I ended up getting the buffalo but unfortunately it may have to be returned.

I forgot that one of our devices uses IPTV and requires IGMP which I'm struggling to get to work with the buffalo and the latest DD-WRT I can find.

So I may need to find another router.

Does anyone know how to get IGMP working with DD-WRT?

I've disabled filtering in the BIOS but my Youview/BT Sport still wont work.
