long story short: i need a somewhat good gaming notebook.

the notebook part is non debatable, since i have to roam around quite a lot due to work.

ofc i informed myself quite a bit, but i still got a few questions.

which gpu to use?

nvidia gtx780m or radeon hd8970m?
this is tough for me, what would you choose?

Btw, i live in germany, so it would help to buy a laptop in the eu.

One i'm interested in would be the erazer x7827, what do you think?

what should i look out for?

oh, and i dont want cf/sli if that helps.
And i would prefer a decently cooled one, since i'm quite unlucky
in that regard. i always seem to buy frying pans.......

Any laptop that's going to have either one of those gpu's is going to be at least $2200.00 US and have decent cooling in it. At least duel fans.

well, it basically boils down to the barebone actually.
atm it seems to be clevo vs msi!

Which one would you recommend?
The erazer has the msi, and is on quite a cheap sale in germany, 1.6k .

I'm probably just a worrywart, since my ps3 fried, my last desktop fried (even though it had decent cooling, the geforce just fried itself) and this laptop which was quite cheap also started to fry the gpu thanks to it's crap architecture.

So basically, i'm thankful for every input regarding barebones, gpu and temperatures/cooling in that regard.

ssd and hdd, as well other stuff is quite unimportant, processor will be prolly i7 4700 mq or 4800.

I've always liked MSI's Laptops.

that doesn't work however.
i'll be away 4 days at least a week, with quite some travelling around my country,
so it would be the same as if i flushed the money down the toilet.

Don't know about the cooling, but here's and MSI notebook with an 8970m for $1000 less than what you said:

Nice, but importing is unfortunately no option, i'd have to pay an additional 30%vat+duty altogether.
Also, i want a radeon 8970m with 4 gb ddr5 if possible, but thanks for the help.

But you are right, if i take a radeon i'll save around 200-300 bucks, just the erazer is quite cheap, since it has been reduced in price tremendously on a german store. Otherwise i'd ignore nvidias gtx 780m overpiced graphic card.

Yeah, thats their bottom of the line laptop with a top of the line gpu in it. Processor is crap. I will admit that MSI laptops have dropped very far in price very quickly.
