long story short: i need a somewhat good gaming notebook.
the notebook part is non debatable, since i have to roam around quite a lot due to work.
ofc i informed myself quite a bit, but i still got a few questions.
which gpu to use?
nvidia gtx780m or radeon hd8970m? this is tough for me, what would you choose?
Btw, i live in germany, so it would help to buy a laptop in the eu.
One i'm interested in would be the erazer x7827, what do you think?
what should i look out for?
oh, and i dont want cf/sli if that helps. And i would prefer a decently cooled one, since i'm quite unlucky in that regard. i always seem to buy frying pans.......
Any laptop that's going to have either one of those gpu's is going to be at least $2200.00 US and have decent cooling in it. At least duel fans.
Don't know about the cooling, but here's and MSI notebook with an 8970m for $1000 less than what you said:
Yeah, thats their bottom of the line laptop with a top of the line gpu in it. Processor is crap. I will admit that MSI laptops have dropped very far in price very quickly.
Sure, the processor isn't great but you'll only notice in CPU bound games. It's not like a 765m is some beast of a card that risks getting bottlenecked. --- FX 6300 @ 4.0Ghz | GTX 760 | AsRock 970 Extreme3 | 120 GB 840 EVO | 2x4GB RAM @ 1600Mhz | CX 500m SteamID: gsf4lyfe
