1.) The game is from 2004, not 1984, I don't think it qualifies as "old ass"
2.) I imagine the publisher set the price people are willing to pay - if the audience enjoys a game and will pay X for it, why would you sell it for lower? This may come as a shock but not every AAA game sells for a pittance.
Yep... even by today's standards, it's a great game. Graphics may be aging a bit, and there are some bugs (most of which are fixed by the last community patch), but gameplay and story are spot on. It's worth $20 still.
