Not a fan of Razer but this is a great deal. Nice job scooping it up fast.

I just said a prayer for you TC. May your new keyboard last longer than 6 months.

I will never buy Razer products. There products have a high failure rate.

These.

The manufacturer of Razer's mechanical keyboards also makes boards for Max keyboard, XArmor, and CoolerMaster. Nobody seems to complain a whole heck of a lot about those boards.

I've got two Black Widows (an original BW and a BW Ultimate Stealth 2013). Both work fine.

No. iOne keyboards are terrible regardless of who's name is on them.

Nay-saying razer just makes you cool, don't take any of it very seriously TC.

In my case, I had a DeathAdder with a broken scroll wheel within 6 months, a Mamba with a sensor that started jumping after a few months, and a Tiamat 7.1 headset that was DOA. After RMA, the two rear channels in the headset don't work.

It's cool to hate Razer, but criticism of their build quality is far from undeserved. Seems to be about 50/50, half the people that have had them say they last for years, half say they last a few months.

In some cases, nay-saying ____ may be for being cool, but in this case, I have personal experience.

One of my Razer mice was having jitter issues when moving right.

Another of my Razer mice had issues with single-click / random double click

A third mice had issues with the scroll wheel where the rubber on it came loose and I couldn't get consistent scrolling.

The feet on their mice wear out pretty fast.

The only good thing is their driver capability for crazy macros.

Their mouse has some serious quality issues with lasting beyond two years.

All of my logitech products have done reasonably well and still work.

The same people that say this tend to flock to Ducky/etc.

Haven't seen any more complaints about iOne in general compared to a more popular brand like Ducky.
And I have a Costar that had the usb connector break.
And since Das won't reveal who their new OEM is and everyone's saying the quality now resembles iOne during their last manufacturing snafu, that should no longer be an option.

Black Widows are by and large capable keyboards and some of the best-priced boards outside of CM's Quickfire and Rosewills.

I don't use Ducky, partly because I don't like Cherry stabilizers, and partly because of after the import fee and shipping, for a bit more you could just get a Deck Legend (which I have) which is a much better board.

Filco Majestouch V2 is excellent with Costar stabilizers if you don't care about backlighting.
