Does one of these even exist anytime in the current gen? Don't care how cheesy, anime, kiddie, obscure, whatever it is. I've played Nier, Disgaea, FF, Secret of Mana, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Avadon, everything.

So you want to play on PC a genre that doesn't exist on PC?

It's not a genre that ever penetrated the PC market. There are a few, The Last Remnant for example, and some American made games like the Zeboyd games, Breath of Death, Cthulhu Saves The World, Penny Arcade 3 and 4.

This. The PC gaming market is very small in Japan, so they don't bother porting their games to it in most cases.

Having said that, I'm surprised that Final Fantasy hasn't made a full transition to PC by this point.

Having said that, Final Fantasy has gone to crap so it doesn't matter.

I'd love to play Tales of Xillia in 1080p60FPS, but it's not meant to be.

If you want turn based combat that's actually good, you need older WRPG's like Fallout 1+2, etc.

Torment: Tides of Nemuria (I may be spelling that incorrectly) will have TB combat that's much deeper than any JRPG.

The Megami Tensei series is really the only turn-based JRPG where you have to do something besides mash Attack and heal between battles until you get to a boss.

There aren't modern, deep, large, turn-based JRPGs in PC because not even consoles have them. Last good ones were made in the PS2 era.

The Last Remnant. It is a lot better than people say, don't listen to whiners.
