Firefox debuts new UI that looks like Chrome.

I use firefox. Actually, some things about the default interface I prefer to Chrome. Like the way the history tab works or the way downloads are handled, even if the differences are just subtle.

I still have mine look as close to 3.x as I can get, I hope I can revert this new UI in a similar way.

Also, are people really leaving firefox because of the interface?

You say that as if it's ridiculous. It's perfectly reasonable to not use a program if you don't like the UI at all and there's viable alternatives.

The Australis UI is pretty awful. It's received mostly negative criticism so far. It takes up more space than the old UI, for no discernible reason, and it seems to want to look like Chrome, which I don't get. The unfortunate thing is that it has broken my theme for the time being...

Firefox was the alternative. Now they look the same.

Your right though, I don't use chrome because of the ui, and now I won't use firefox for the same reason. I also don't use ie because of the chrome like ui.
Is opera the only one left? I haven't used them in ages but they used to have a nice customizable ui.

Chrome has a terrible UI, why the hell is everything trying to copy it?

This. I still use Firefox as my primary browser because Chrome looks terrible

I use Epic Browser which completely drapes me from the public while looking exactly the same as Chrome since it's based on Chromium.
