He's been having a problem with booting up his computer every once in a while. Sometimes (and only SOMEtimes) his computer will start up and hang, not displaying anything on the monitor at all.
When we opened up the computer the Mobo had a Dr. Debug thing that was hanging at error code 93. Upon some looking at the mobo manual, we found out that error 93 had something to do with PCI Bus Hot Plug Controller Initialization.
We tried reseating the graphics card do see if it would help, but it didn't. I think it might have something to do with his keyboard/mouse or something. He does not have a spare kb/m so we could not test it though. His keyboard/mouse are quite bad, I might add. They were cheap things.
If it helps, the keyboard uses PS/2 and the mouse uses USB.
I did some light google-ing of it, but I couldn't find anything that seemed to work so... yeah.
Thanks in advance. --- is haha

Did you try switching PCI lanes for the graphics card? --- i7-920 @ 3.6 // 470 GTX // 12 GB G.Skill Sniper Ram // PS3 // 360 FiiO e9+17 // AD700 + M50 // Deck Legend + 82 // DAS Ultimate S
I didn't try that. When my friend comes home I'll tell him to do that and see what happens. --- is haha

It' could be the power supply, the r9 290x is a beast of a card. I would test the mobo without the card in and see of there is still issues --- I5 3570k 4.2 Ghz | 2 Gtx 670 ftw 's sli| 1 TB HDD | 16 GB RAM | corsair TX 750 | Samsung 840 pro 256GB | Asus P8 Z77V - LK | Cooler master HAF Tower
