Should i buy BF4 Premium Or Rust and 7 Days to die?

#1dATerXiesPosted 12/14/2013 5:25:10 PM
Work gave me a 50 dollar prepaid card.

I decided to treat myself to a game. The question is.. should i upgrade to Premium for BF4? Or should i pick up Rust and 7 Days 2 die.. both games look appealing to me too.

No point upgrading to premium yet.

Go for door number 2

Suppose that depends on how much you enjoy your BF4 experience so far. If you're more casual you may want to wait till more of the expacs are out so you can see what you're getting before jumping in. Me I bought it day one and have no regrets, but I knew going in I'd be playing the hell out of the game and almost 300 hours later I was pretty much dead on.

I'm biased against the modern Battlefield franchise and EA, so I say go for the other vidya. But if you get enough enjoyment out of it then I say go for it.

Seriously though, EA sucks and they should stop charging double the standard market price for their games.

Russian is my first language, so yes there may be a spelling error or two.

That's horribly one sided. pretty much every company that offers DLC does the same thing.

Fair enough, but at least they aren't cartoonish super villains.

Not to mention the deal was pretty much the same as far back as BF1942. You didn't have a preorder setup with perks, but by the time you bought both expacs it still ended up essentially the same price.

Uh, that entirely depends on how much he plays and what he wants to get out of the game...

I've got over 150 hours in and it's pretty clear Premium would be worth it. We already know about the first two DLCs, and Premium grants access to 5 of them (technically 4 more if you pre-ordered and got one free).

Now if he's only played like, 20 hours and doesn't really get into the game for the long-term, then Premium may not be worth it.

I'm just saying that there's nothing out for premium at the moment. I'm sure if he buys the other games, he'll come across another 50 bucks when the next expak comes out.

Myself and another will be buying Rust today. If you get it TC shoot me a PM, Power in numbers... we can be the three musketeers, with penises

How do they charge double the standard price?

If you're talking about Premium then you're plain stupid since it SAVES you money on the expansions.
