I'm just saying that there's nothing out for premium at the moment. I'm sure if he buys the other games, he'll come across another 50 bucks when the next expak comes out.

China Rising is still Premium Exclusive last I checked. And buying now you get the freebie customization crap that comes with Premium.

Indeed. The cosmetic fluff is sorta nice but really I'd consider it more of a bonus for people who'd be buying it regardless than I would a selling point if anyone is on the fence. Unless they're just knife/camo/emblem fetishists.

The nicest thing for me about Premium is the two week head start, or beta testing period depending on how your personal luck goes.

I mainly jumped into Premium this time around because with BF3 I started playing late and didn't think I'd get into it, and bought DLCs one at a time for $7.50-12 here and there, and by the end of it I probably could have done just as well with Premium (But, I still didn't like the "forced" Branding for Premium members).

I ended up with over 500 hours in BF3. So I can pretty much assume the same is going to happen in BF4, and I might as well lock in getting all the DLCs now. I'm already well past a $1/Hour price point, counting the cost of premium.

You need either Premium or the Digital Deluxe version to get China Rising. Personally I've had a blast with BF 4 and have found Premium worth it despite the 2 hot-heads I play with that like to go rambo sometimes.

i have like 29 hours into BF4 and i have had it since it came out. I don't really have time to put a lot of time in any games right now. BF4 for me goes in stages.. ill play a bunch and get burnt out and wont touch it for a week then play it a bunch again..

i had BF3 and bought premium for it and had it the whole time and only put like 33 hours into it lol.. but i didn't have any buddies who played it back then whereas now i have a few people to play with.

Regardless i think im just gonna go for Rust and 7 days... 2 games to try out and watch grow into hopefully something good! One of the guys i play BF4 with has 967 hours into bf3 and he never even bought premium (its not that hes cheap he buys tons of games) and he said he doesn't plan on buying premium for BF4 either. Mentioned that the maps that launched with game usually stay the most popular?

Thanks!
