Wow, Origin really is trash isn't it?

Pages load slower than molasses. I've tried to get an email sent for 6 hours today so I can reset my password. No email showing up.

Typical EA garbage.

Note to EA: You will NEVER EVER get a dollar from me.

I tried giving it a chance, but it wouldn't let me. Games downloaded at like 1/10 the speeds Steam gives me. I know a lot of people say Origin actually downloads faster for them, but not for me.

I even thought of downloading it on a different network and transferring it to my existing PC, like I do with Steam downloads sometimes, but Origin doesn't have a feature for that.

If the pages are loading slowly, you need to check your internet connection. Also, if you think origin is slow, I pray you never use steam. Steam has, by far, the most worthless customer service on the planet.

yeah it does. Start downloading your desired game, let it hit 1%, close origin completely, copy the data to the download folder, start origin, 100%, play.

Nope, it isn't. I've actually never had one problem with it.

But I know, I know. You personally have a problem, therefore that means it's a horrible product that no other human being on Earth should even attempt to use.

This. It does what it does better than Steam does; that, of course, being "launch games". It doesn't hog up my internet connection with random updates for games I don't even play anymore (or, in some cases, never have) and it launches/closes WAY faster than Steam does.

That being said, Steam Overlay is better, they have a better collection of games, sales are better, and it's easier to actually put games on Steam.

Works about as well as Pro Tools HDX 11 for me. Plenty fast, and reliable I'd say.
