I'm trying to find a great set of earbuds for listening to music of my phone. Preferably looking for something with good highs mids and lows booming bass and most importantly something well built that can fit in my iphone and laptop.

Plugs or buds?

You also should give a price point you are looking at, pricing can range from 20 to 600+ USD with these things.

Another site that has some good information on this would be headfi.org

I love these and every time I feel adventurous and try something different they end up sucking and I go back to these:
Philips Flexible Earhook Headphones SHS3200/28

Personally, I use them for my MP3 player while I'm out and about. I spend at least 2 hours every weekday walking and they take a lot of wear & tear so I'm not willing to sink a lot of money into my earbuds. If you are then there may be better options but these have great sound for the cost.

Depends how much money you're willing to spend. Klipsch Image S4is are pretty solid for ~$70-80. Last I checked, Etymotic HF5s were $100 on Amazon, normally $150. I have a pair of those, and they are quite good.

Klipsch S4's

This is actually what I suggest too, they isolate more easily than most others I've tried.

If you're looking for isolation you need comply foam tips. They're a bit pricey but they are without a doubt worth it. Increases comfort and seal a great deal.

I use Nuforce NE-700x myself, I think its nice.

The Klipsch S4s are the M50s of the IEM world it seems. TC, you could suggest a budget or just check out these threads and find something you like in your price range.
