TC has clearly put the least amount of effort into preparing his question.
Therefore, he clearly deserves an answer with the least amount of effort.

You have put more effort into posting in this topic than everyone else put together.

Clearly you have some issues putting your logic into action.

He's putting quotation marks around the word search to distinguish the verb search (which he used earlier on in that sentence) with the noun search (which he was trying to emphasise). A capital letter would have been more effective but I wouldn't say that he was wrong to put quotation marks around it.

Also you typed "there" when you should have typed "their", so don't be a hypocrite. :p

Also the comma you are insistent on is not required, gramatically speaking. There is no ambiguity in the sentence.

I generally agree that the original post could have been structured a little more clearly, as I found it a bit difficult to follow. But I think some of your specific criticisms are a little bit unfair.

Who do you think you are, comma's father?!!?!?!!?

What the ************************??????????????????????????????

Put a bloody comma after "also."
=> Also, the comma you are insistent...

gramatically? What's a gramatically? Do you mean grammatically?

There is so much ambiguity, like so much.

At the risk of inciting more immature silliness:

This is what my search menu looks like:
http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/7908/sx19.png

See the column on the right? The first thing there used to be a category called "apps". Right now it's "finance." If I press the search key and just start typing, it will search the finance app for whatever I'm looking for. For example, you may notice the "Apps" menu occupying most of the left side of the screen. I can use the search window to look for "7zip," but never find it, because the "apps" category for search no longer exists.

I know I can use keyboard shortcuts. But I shouldn't have to.

What makes him truly great is he racked up all those moderations and *still* managed to avoid being warned or suspended.
