So last night, my computer went crazy. It isn't a gaming laptop or nothing, I do play some indie titles on it and a few others. Nothing major. I was playing The Walking Dead and suddenly my laptop went full berserk. The fan went on ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. Like if there was another room right next to my room, you'd prolly hear it.
It surprised me because One, it was loud. Two, My computer WASN'T even hot or warm for that matter. And Three, my laptop is only a few months old and I keep my desk pretty clean. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks. --- The Official Ezio Auditore Da Firenze of Every Board.

Check the temps with a program like HWmon, are the temps very high (90C - 100C)?
Have you cleared dust from the laptop recently? --- I think I'm the only person on gamefaqs with a daughterboard - ToastyOne New with a moderation history more plentiful than karma. - Fossil (Moderator)
It's new so I don't think it needs cleaning, like I said..I keep my desk area very clean. And no, my computer was actually pretty cool. It wasn't even hot or warm or anything. I don't understand why the fan acted the way it did. It was shockingly loud.
Maybe it has something to do with this so call coolsense? I heard it just throttles your computer. Thing is, AGAIN..it wasn't even warm to begin with. --- The Official Ezio Auditore Da Firenze of Every Board.
