It could be the end of PC gaming as we know it. Everyone would flock to consoles because they are cheaper and you don't have to be a genius and put parts together and stuff or shell out tons of money for a steam machine or alienware. There would be no more benefits to owning a PC cause there are not really any PC exclusives except for MMOs which are mostly for neckbeards which will own a gaming PC no matter what just to put their specs in their sig. --- Official Swinub 3DS Friend Code: 0602-6783-9027 - Friend safari: ICE type: Delibird, Bergmite, Dewgong

Nope --- If you believe in Duck Butter and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.
Just wait until physical copies of games become obsolete for consoles. The generation after this will most likely have it by then. --- Chicago Bears 8-8, 3rd NFC North (2011-2012 Season) WE LIKE IKE! Aethering to victory.

Consoles are just cheap pc's these days anyways. If they had awesome digital sales like we enjoy, I'd still love my superior machine. What benefit would a pc user have to switch to a console only?
Backwards compatibility is one of the greatest benefits of pc gaming. Add in the extra horsepower ceiling, mods, control customization and freedom in general and its still a no brainer. --- 2500k @ 4.4 | P8Z68-V Pro | H80 | 8GB | 670 | 256 ssd | 6Tb hdd | Win 8 64bit | ax1200w | BD burner | cm690II Steam: DV8ing1

I know that everyone tries to brainwash everyone with that master race bull s*** but seriously, the most difficult thing about putting together a PC is probably picking the best components for what you want, and after that, I'd say if you're careful about static electricity and you know how to fit tab A into slot B you're more than qualified to put a PC together.
It's intimidating at first but as long as you're not reckless it's not that hard. --- http://raptr.com/badge/arleas/uc.png http://www.speedtest.net/result/2868545294.png

the sales on xbox live are starting to get pretty close, a large amount of stuff is anywhere from 50% to 80% off with a different pretty new release being around 50-75% off each day until new years. So i don't think PC gaming is going anywhere
