Help with new computer's video output please

Read his WHOLE first post "I tried it on a 1080p monitor earlier at another person's house using the HDMI slot on the video card itself and it worked just fine."

Got the OS and all the drivers set up. No idea what fixed it but the Sony monitor is working fine now. Thanks (almost) everyone.

Oh damn, you got a 3D sony monitor. Those things are nothing but trouble.

My cousin went through 2 of them in a few months. And Sony is a pain to deal with.

I'm hoping it's something silly like a loose HDMI cable or port that you have to fiddle with, for your sake. But you might want to dig out your warranty information.


I've had it for 2 years and never had a single issue with it.
