So Metal Gear Rising requires a i5 2400? guess my i5 2310 is in trouble!

Maybe my 780 can save me. lol. with these System Requirements this game better have Battlefield 4 level graphics. Probably will be a UN-optimized mess like Dark Souls!

Processor: Intel Core i5 2400
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS 450
DirectX: Version 9.0c

Minimum requirements are there to cover their asses. Your cpu will likely be just fine but nothing as weak as it was tested.

Obviously ridiculously overstated requirements.

I bet it would play on a dual core at acceptable fps,

so apparently we're going to be running an emulated version of the game instead of an actual port.

PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

The recommended specs are said to be their estimate for what you'd need to keep a constant 60 fps with all in game settings turned their highest at the most demanding area of the game. Ie 8x msaa and with "Zandatsu" turned to its highest setting (ie you can generate twice as much geometry via slicing as you can on the consoles and it persists twice as long).

So...my phenom II is screwed? Not that I wanna play that anyway, but wow...freaking wow.

I swear, these "next gen" titles are inflated to ridiculous levels requirements wise. Same graphics as games like BF3 and the TW2, require over twice the hardware power.
