They're good. It give the devs money to help develope the game and we can help by saying what's needed in the game.

They're bad. It keeps the game in a perpetual alpha/beta and is nothing but a cash grab.

I have no issues with them. When I buy one I know what I'm getting into.

I won't buy any more early access games and by the time they're officially released I've usually lost any hype I had for them.

If you don't want early access just think of your purchase as a pre-order and just play it when they release the full version.

It's just another option for us and developers. Nothing is forcing either to use it. I like having the ability to choose. I have yet to buy an early access game but I'm all for it. Ideally, they'd have a separate area on the main page dedicated to them though.

It depends. If its an indie game that I am interested in, I am happy to support them. I hope they use the money to further the game. If its a AAA title I expect a finished product. Unfortunately that is becoming less and less the case. Where developers used to be okay with delaying a game to perfect it they now release it early (usually under publisher demands) and fix it later. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
