Any MMOs to play?`

#1AbsolutelyAlexPosted 12/20/2013 10:17:42 PM
I went back to GW2 and it's more or less a wasteland, save for champ trains and world bosses.

Are there any decent MMOs out there right now? I've been looking at FFIX, but thought I'd ask here to get a wider range of responses.

I'm not averse to paying a subscription of it's worth it.

Thanks.

Final Fantasy XIV: A realm reborn is pretty good I'm playing it right now. It's subscription based but when you buy it you get a month free

Mabinogi is worth a look if you want something that is more open.

Two F2P games come to mind.

SWTOR: Mostly for the story aspect. Each class has it's own unique story line, some of which are very good.

LotRO: Mostly if you are a fan of the lore. I play it on and off mostly solo just to explore.

Rift is decent, free, and for all that the cash shop sells gear the best stuff is extremely expensive and not the absolute best stuff you can earn from grinding stuff in-game.

EVE Online is good to great depending on your personality and preferences, and after you've been playing the game for a half a year or two you could probably earn enough isk to buy PLEXes effectively making the game "free to play" in a loose sense.

Mabinogi, DDO, LotRO, GW2 on a decent server (not sure where you are, but on SoR things are pretty decent), I've heard that Tera is good, Rift if you're into that sort of game.
