Just buy a wireless N USB network adapter. They're as cheap as 20 bucks.

Can you use a physical ethernet cable to test?

When I plug the ethernet cable in, my computer runs fast and youtube videos load in the highest 1080p setting. So I eliminated it being a router problem, and the other laptops with no signal problems eliminate it being a signal obstruction problem.

So its either the wireless adapter, driver problem, or maybe some application is messing with the wireless settings. Going to plug a crappy free USB wireless adapter in and running speed test.

Btw, what settings should the adapter be in like device manager? Like these are the settings under the adapter right now. And yes I googled this question but nothing is showing up... :/

Channel mode: 2.4GB + 5GB
Country region value 2.4Ghz: 0 (1 - 11)
Country region value 2.4Ghz: 7 (36 - 165)
IEEE802.11h: Disabled
Multimedia/Gaming: On
Radio on/off: Enable

So I eliminated it being a router problem,

The wireless portion and wired portion are separate parts of the router. Just because one works doesn't mean the other will.

TBH once you have installed your wireless adapter (the laptop part), you shouldn't need to setup anything besides your SSID and password.

Start off by resetting your router (usually a little button or hole with a button) if you were fiddling with the routers settings.

Do you have any other routers you can test with? Friends place?

Well I changed the router on the computer just now to a cheap free one I was given haha and get much better results:

Ping: 45ms
Download speed: 3.02 Mbps
Upload: 0.65 Mbps

So this would mean the router I had previously installed is the problem?

And none of my friends play videogames really haha, Im the nerd of them all. And I have small girl arms to carry this giant tower. :(

Most likely.

Regarding the tower moving, you mentioned laptops, so I figured you could take those for testing but yeah if even a cheap router is performing better, its likely that the wireless radio is starting to or has completely failed in the router you were using.
