This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

So no one's at Steam's HQ to fix the issue until tomorrow...

I'm having a hard time believing they would just leave it like that.

There is no issue they could fix. The servers are just overloaded by everyone getting free copies of L4D2.

What Valve should of done is just put L4D2 into everyone's library as a surprise if they are logged in or did login. Kinda what they do for free weekend play on games.

I'm pretty sure this issue has a lot more to do then overloaded servers, the servers are offline totally right now... Has me a bit worried in all honesty lol.

the point of them giving away free games is to get more people to make steam accounts

they did it with Portal and had major success

I just find it weird that PSN and Nintendo's eShop is also down right now too.

TBQH I was surprised that since the beginning of this years Steam holiday sales it hasn't gone bad up until now. The last few years were just servers going down right at the beginning of the sale.
