Very nice price for a 180gb. I have their 520 series. You get a 5yr warranty. It's intel. Get it.

how is the 120gb version? it doesn't say sata 3, does that make a big difference if its just for my operating system?

Intel is a very good brand for SSDs.
And yes, SATA III would be very important for an SSD, because you run the risk of the cable bottlenecking you without it.

Good ssd. Not a wonderful price. The seagate 600 250gb and samsung evo 250gb has been going on sale a lot for $139
