I've played a small out of Skyrim on the 360. Quite a bit of Fallout 3 on the 360. Never played New Vegas.

I'm only going to buy one, as I don't have time to play more than one free roaming expansive game.

Any thoughts? I want to lean towards FallOut 3 since it has a quite coherent story, but I'm on quad core with Windows 7 and have heard the game might literally "not work".

Skyrim, well I haven't played too much. I played my fair share of Oblivion though.

I don't know which to get, which is why I'm asking for opinions. I've a fan of both styles of game play.

Buy New Vegas. Skip Fallout 3 completely.

Skyrim is trash, but if you want a walking simulator with the occasional dragon attacks, then buy it on sale.

I guess it basically boils down to what genre you like better. Medieval Fantasy? Or Post-Apocalyptic future?

When you put it like that: Post-Apocalyptic future.

On opposite day.

Protip: Just filter your damn water, or drink from an underground well, or drink from a running stream. Oh damn. I just ruined the plot of Fallout 3.

Any chance New Vegas will be discounted again or should I just grab it now?

Wait for the last day of the sale. If it doesn't go on sale by then, then just buy it.
