Hey, Age of Empires 3 is a pretty damn fun Strategy Game

I heard some negative things about this game years ago but I'm really enjoying this game right now, it's incredibly fun. I just played the tutorial but it was awesome.

Definitely glad I picked up the game on the Steam Sale.

Also, the game looks surprisingly good for it's age.

Yeah, the negative stuff is because Age of Empires 3 is very different from Age of Empires 2.

Yeah it's tons of fun and it's the game that got me into PC gaming.
Shame Microsoft killed Ensemble studios.

It's very fun, and the card system is kind of refreshing. Playing as Ottomons and massing Spahis and Great Bombards was always fun. I still prefer Age of Mythology.

I always thought it was good. Too bad more people didn't buy it when it was on sale for ten cents.

When was that?!

I didn't think it was very good though especially if you played its predecessors. The main reason? It's in 3D. I have a high aversion for 3D games in series that were originally 2D, and there are very few games that that I would give an exception to for this.

Because not everyone like changes. Always expect people to complain about they changed this now it sux, and so on and so forth. Simply to say, if you like it, you like it, if you don't, you don't. The card simply add new strategy. That graphics was also a big spike in term of increase at the time of its release that many people don't want to play on maps with water in them, because the ship destruction physics were too good at the time and gave people's machine problems.

I got it when it was on sale for 10 cents. Played it a bit, it was alright, didn't captivate me the way Age of Empires 1 & 2 did. I guess it was worth 10 cents.
