am a pc gamer. but i could say PS3. lol

that's the dumbest thing i've read today. good job.

but the 290 easily.

could be dumb, but then again if you think about it, you'd be spending thousands of bucks just to play it beautifully on a 40" HDTV

while on a ps3, all you need to do is buy one at around $250.

although i am quite happy at my current rig wc only has an amd a8 and its on board gpu.

so yeah, if TC feels like it, go for the 290, or if you would prefer the ps3 and its many exclusives, go ahead with my option.

it's an opinion, not an advice.

Ummm....290 for under $400?

LOL have fun with a reference POS.

The good 290's are $500 with aftermarket coolers which are being released.

770, 290 only if you want to waste time mining bitcoins (and all their pointless variants)

lmfao. you're so clueless. the size of the tv doesn't matter, it's the resolution. which is 1080p which is most monitors which most people game easily on.

I got my 290 for $410 and it's been working great. Card hasn't seen 90C yet. learn how to turn the fan up a little.

I haven't had any problems with heat or sound, all these guys that talk crap about the card don't even own one lol.

That's been the cool thing to do since it's release

The Aftermarket ones are faster and better than the reference in EVERY way.

You say it's a pos, seems to be working great here????

I would have liked a non reference but they were not available at the time of purchase.

Why is it a pos? Let me guess , your going to say sound and heat right????

It's meant to run at a high temp, and I cannot hear the graphics card over my case fans so sound is not a problem.

It's fine
