Best card under $400

I fortunately picked up mine right around release for 400, now the prices unfortunately have inflated.

This card has twice the vram of a 770, especially useful considering two gigs of vram is currently being pushed to it's limits by today's games. Two gbs of vram WILL not allow you to Max out any game today, nor will it run at 60fps, nor will it allow aliasing

Buying a 2gb vcard in 2014 seems like a bad idea....

Completely agree. I see Battlefield 4 using 2.3GB.

Don't listen to those who think the 770 is still a good buy even for 1080p gaming.

My 770 is plenty for all the games out right now. Keep talking out your ass though. Have the added benefit of being able to use physx in a growing library of games as well.

Metro Last Light
All the Batman Arkham games
Assassins Creed 4...
Battlefield 4
All these newer games run great on this 770. Haven't found a situation where 2gb of vram is even remotely an issue either.

Battlefield 4 uses physx? or were you just naming games that your 770 is able to play? <_<

newer games DO use more than 2GB of vram already though.

Just newer games that run at incredible visuals at 1080p... just so happens the first 5 games listed use physx XD

Edit: What newer games use more than 2gb at 1080p right now at 4xMSAA (anymore is a waste)?

LOL bf4 doesn't support phsyx.

2gbs of vram is enough to PLAY the game, but if you wish to Max them out at 1080p, then 2gb will not be enough. This is fact

And most sites that tested to see if the Vram was the issue decided it was not the discerning factor.
