You mean the price of a new retail game on release day as console gamers dont have to always pay full price for games.

This is actually a good thing, imo. My first steam sale was Winter last year and cost me a little over $400. The amount of games I bought from Steam/Amazon was absurd. I remember tallying up the retail total and it was almost $2500 worth of games. The next sale was the Summer sale which I spent $150 on and had a lot of the sale games already.

This winter sale is almost over and I've spent $90. I'm getting down to the point where there are very few games left I want to buy. Great! Give my wallet a rest, lol.
