The PC takes PC2 5300 or PC2 6400, but this one is 5400. Will it still work fine?

5300 is 5400, its marketing numbers - they're both the bandwidth of DDR2 667 (5,336MB/s - rounded up or down)

6400 is DDR2 800. Either or should be fine, as the speed difference wouldn't be noticeable for day to day tasks.
