I've got a 6750 that intermittently freezes for 20-30 seconds, displays some static garbage and then recovers, along with the message that the display driver has recovered. This has happened in games ranging from X3 to Duke Nukem 3D (lol.) Some days it won't happen, and some days there'll be multiple occurrences within an hour. It's much less frequent, but I've had bluescreens once in awhile too.

HWMonitor reports max temps in the 50s. That's only socket temp I'm pretty sure, but still. The real puzzling bit though, is that I've tested two Nvidia cards that behaved similarly.

Have you completely uninstalled your old graphics drivers and installed knew ones?

Same thing happened to me, almost identically. Ended up being a stick of ram that was bad. It would pass the memtest86 if both sticks were in at once, but they need to be tested separate with memtest.

I tried a new GPU, PSU, Motherboard and everything, nothing worked. Ended up being ram, and the ram was only 1 year old.

I think you saved me a bunch of headaches. Thanks.
