I'm so confused as to how my SSD works.

If you still have the old windows install on the HDD you can have it look for all the device drivers in the windows\system32\ folder.

Ok I was able to connect to the internet.

Now I just need to figure out what else I should have on my SSD.

Where can I download 8.1? I can't find it on the store now.

How can I play my games from my HDD? I don't want to have to reinstall them. How can they show up in my library?

If you're talking about your steam library, they should automatically be there when you log in with your account. Just make sure that their install path points to the right folder on your HDD and when you click the button to install, Steam will do a quick check and a first time install (usually just directx, unavoidable).

Ok, I figured out how to get my Steam Library from my HDD. Now I just want to download 8.1 and also be able to use my backgrounds I had set but I can't see my pictures library for some reason.

Wait, how can I put my Origin Library from my HDD too? I don't want to install on my SSD.

Origin->Application Settings-->Advanced and point the folder to your hard drive, I assume it's: D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games

A lot of my games aren't working and I don't know why. What is a fix for it? I'm pretty sure I re-downloaded my GPU driver, but most games won't work.

For steam, you need to right click and go to properties. There you will see a tab called Local Files, click on this tab and inside there is a button called Verify integrity of game cache.

You prob need to do this for most games.

Downloaded games or games installer?

Also, I just installed Black Mesa on my HDD the other night but it doesn't show up in Steam when I added it to my SSD. How can I get it there?
