I liked that game. at least it works, unlike Painkiller. You should at least try it first. you might like it.

i have too many games in my backlog as it is. not only that, all of the gameplay videos i've seen made it look like a horrible buggy mess

I'm only going to list the worst games from my "Not Interested" category that I've actually tried playing:

Amnesia - I'll admit, I liked the water hallway segment but the rest of the game followed different mechanics that I found very boring. 3 hours logged.

Cherry Tree High Comedy Club - I wanted to like this game since I like supporting localized Japanese indie games and I was hoping the cute would carry it but this one couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a VN or a game. Without enough story to make it a good VN and without decent enough gameplay to make it a good game, it fails at both. You just grind your stats up to win friends over. Got very dull very fast. 2 hours logged.

Crysis - I've never dropped an FPS so fast in my life. "Here's this cool suit that does all these awesome things! ... But you can only use them for 0.2s at a time". =\ Even aside from that, the game just didn't compel me to play it. I have 52 minutes of game time logged.

Jet Set Radio - This one gets praised sometimes so I picked it up in a Sega bundle but it must be praised through nostalgia glasses. The mechanics for this game are shallow and the controls are very rough. Was probably playable in it's day but there are games that do this sort of thing way better nowadays. 50 minutes logged.

Space Channel 5 Part 2 - Part of the aforementioned bundle. It's a rhythm game which means it's already got a strike against it in my book but the style looked really cool so I gave it a shot... Even worse than just being a rhythm game, there's no indicator of the tempo and the button sequences are based on copying what the enemy character does. In other words, it's a glorified Simon Says or a bad version of Parapper the Rapper. I logged a whopping 15 minutes on this one.

Day One: Garry's Incident.

It would be X: Rebirth, but thankfully I dodged that bullet.
