I cannot for the life of me see the appeal in Titan Quest. I'm not crazy for the genre, but Torchlight is great and Path of Exile seems enjoyable. Titan Quest... never manages to impress me into buying it. What am I missing?

-Highly customizable weapons/armor/jewelry
-Skill trees that allow the player real choice
-Highly diverse builds that cater to any playstyle (56 possible classes with different viable builds for each)
-You can easily re-spec your skill points any time you want
-Plenty of monster types, including random hero monsters
-Allows you to easily filter out the crap loot by assigning a key to only show what color drops you want
-Free mods to do almost anything you could want in the game
-Free online multiplayer
-Does not require online to play; saves can be backed up

Install the latest fanpatch, then play it without mods first, then install Masteries and the version of Lilith that's compatible with Masteries.

Looks like TL2 is in the lead after I was leaning heavily towards Titan Quest and PoE.

Keep the votes coming!

Diablo 2 (+ PlugY) because it's better than those 4 combined.

Why have so many people voted for Torchlight 2 now? What makes it the best?

We'll for one, it's cheap. You can get it on a sale for like $5. Also, the online is fun, lots of skills, mods, and it's just a fun game to play. Though I've never tried any of the others so I wouldn't know if they're better
