That's kind of the point of any x-input wrapper. You're not going to see dualshock 3 buttons on your screen ever unless you're actually playing a PS3

PS3 still has the PShome button which isn't featured on PS2. So no.

If you haven't already done so, remove MotionInJoy from your system. It's malware. Use the xinput wrapper.

I'm a noob at PC gaming.

I don't quite understand why I need a Bluetooth Dongle, when I already have Bluetooth on my PC. I did read this part:
Note : The Bluetooth Driver requires that you dedicate a Bluetooth Dongle to DS3 use. It will not be usable by other Bluetooth devices after the driver has been installed.

Did I understand correctly that the Dongle will somehow be reserved for the DS3 controller and only it from henceforth and cannot be used with other devices, ever? If so, would the DS3 controller otherwise not be recognized by the PC at all, OR would it somehow mess with the PC's ports or something? Would the DS3 controller still work with my PS3 even after getting it to work with the Dongle and PC?

Please excuse my ignorance, I require some hand holding in this matter :D

^All you need to do is connect your PS3 controller charger cable (the one that comes with every PS3) to a USB port. Once you install the drivers, it works just like an Xbox controller. You can disconnect and put it back in your PS3 just fine.

Do you get to the Cloud District very often?
Oh, what am I saying; of course you don't.
