Need A Good Lengthy Indie Game

#1Bleach313Posted 12/30/2013 2:18:24 PM
I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a good lengthy indie game to buy and play. I bought Dust An Elysian Tail yesterday and have been enjoying it. Then someone told me that it was 8hrs long (add a ton more hrs for sidequests), that was music to my ears right there.

Reason I want some lengthy indie games is because I like to get the bang for my buck. In other words, I want to buy a game that will last me a while. I don't really mind what kind of game it is (as long as it isn't strategy), just want a lengthy fun one.

I consider a lengthy game 6hrs+
Any suggestions?

Guacameele is good and the same genre as Dust, I have been playing for 6 hours and have not yet fininished. Someone said it took them 10 hours for 100%

Do games like dungeons of dreadmoor and FTL count?

Do you get to the Cloud District very often?

Terraria has been the absolute best enjoyment for my dollar... $2.50 when I bought it and I put over 100 hours into it (I'm sure it's way more than that but I don't want to go look). Torchlight 1/2 kept me busy for a while. Dungeons of Dredmor was well worth the money.

Pool Nation is excellent. Recettear is great....

Those are the indie games that have kept me busy the longest. Oh and if "10 hours" is a long game to you, then everything I mentioned is a long game 3 times over.

Rogue Legacy is great, and quite lengthy if you want to get all the upgrades.
