I don't get it. Games make more in steam sales? Maybe because a lot of pc gamers refuse to buy at full price now and wait for sales. Kinda what is happening in the fashion industry. Read some comments about the mass effect dlc "Citadel". Fifteen dollars for twelve hours of awesome is not expensive.
If I developed a game, it would be first and foremost so the gamers could enjoy it. If the gamers enjoy it, the money would come. So I would not sell out for exclusivity. I think that's the problem with video gaming today. Developers just want money and don't care about their own product.
