Before mods, of course, though I wouldn't mind seeing a second list of those games that have awesome graphic mods.

Well, if you want to see night and day, an example would be to play Far Cry 3 or The Witcher 2 on whatever console you wish, then play those same two games maxed out @ 1080p or higher res on PC.

Seeing those 2 games on my friends PC when they were released convinced me that consoles were underpowered paperweights with the advantage of having good exclusives here and there. I still own 2 consoles, but they mostly collect dust now. I only dust them off to play the occasional exclusive that, sadly, doesn't make it to PC.

That's a type of answer I was looking for, unless all games have that much of a difference like people are saying.

Okay, Skyrim is one too. Ugly as hell on consoles, way better looking on PC and even beautiful with texture mods.

Most console ports ain't much better on PC, but multiplatforms, PC is definitely the best.
