Just a sample build.

If you live near a microcenter you can get the CPU/mobo for $75 less.

Normally I'd go 500w but at this time the 600w is same price so it's not a bad idea and will give you room for future upgrades.

But if you go for the 3tb HDD the build gets weaker which means you'll Spend more money sooner to keep up.

say, can that build run FF-14: ARR at high? thats pretty budget and i already have windows 7 and a 500W PSU and an DVD drive. it would save me a bit of money.

im looking to play mostly MMOs and this intel core 2 duo. 2.8GHZ / Geforce GTX630 / 500W PSU / 3.5GB ram (damn you 32bit) is really only good for casual MMo gaming. FF14 benchmark score wise says 4000 is needed to play on default. i scored a 2000 meaning i have to play it on low.

if that thing can play FF14 on high then im all for it. also can it OC?

This is a bit over my budget but it doesn't look bad. What kind of performance will I get from games with this? Hell, I could also just buy the parts piece by piece.

I run a 6300/7850 and I can play pretty much everything on med high and some high ultra.

I also think there is a site that you can get your benchmarks for ff14. I'll do that to give you an idea. The only other game I've run benchmarks on was F12013 and I ran it on ultra at 83fps. But that's not terribly graphically extensive.

I'm not gonna be doing crossfire, as I don't even know how. For now I'm gonna keep things simple with one CPU and one video card.
