Anyone know if there is a "quicker" way to "wake" my monitor?

AMD drivers, This gets super frustrating. I have it set to turn off my LCD every 15mins of inactivity but waking it can take over 15 secs. I've seen people wake their monitors instantly from just one flick. Also I can't even do it with my Keyboard for some reason. Only my mouse and I have to wait and wait. Not sure if this is a windows thing or video driver thing. It can't be the monitor because this used to happen on my old one.

It shouldn't take 15 secs to wake my monitor. So it has to be windows or AMD driver related. Help appreciated. I am kinda stumped on this lol

Uninstall GPU drivers, run DriverCleaner, Reinstall.

Sounds like you don't want your monitor actually going into standby at all. Instead set a blank/black screen saver.

Are you sure it's not just the monitor? I had two monitors side by side, same manufacturer, but after blanking the display for inactivity, one of em came back fast and the other came back pretty slowly and the one that came back slowly eventually died on me... So I'm thinking maybe this is an issue with the monitor getting older.

Well its not going into standby. That is the thing, I leave my computer on 24/7. I just want the monitor to shut off. I just have it shutoff at 15mins
