It was $6 during the holiday sale.... just wait until the Spring or Summer sale.

The heck? Wait 6 months because a $20 game might go on sale? What has Steam done to you people...

Most people have backlogs they can fall back on, so they can afford to wait. Plus, you can use that money to buy another game during a sale. It makes sense.

Normally I wouldn't do something like that, but for a Fallout game? No question.

Prioritize you life, if you can swing 20$ there's your answer.

As long as you don't have a huge backlog it's easily worth $20 for the amount of content it has. I usually figure any game is worth it for $1 hour of entertainment, and FO NV could easily give you 100 hours of entertainment, if not more.

Bought the game last night and I left my computer on to download it now it's done. Should I get mods now or wait until I beat the game then use mods to increase replay value?

No, it doesn't. Every game goes on sale. Every game gets cheaper. You're saying it's smart to never buy anything ever because in half a year it could be $10-$15 cheaper.

Just buy and play Fallout 1 and 2 instead. They are still excellent. Oh wait, steam and gog removed them from their stores.

F***, I should've f***ing waited. This game is really boring. Not sure what it is but Fallout 3 was funner to me even though I don't remember much of it since I got it on release day and beat it one week after buying FO3
